Here we detail the "Polizei" tribute version; a unique model, one of the most photographed in the world, about which little has been written. It was seen cruising at Alderley Edge in the United Kingdom in 2016. It was exhibited in Coventry that same year before being auctioned on September 14, 2018. It sold for $6,812 at the sale organized by CCA Everyman Classics. It had 157,000 km on the odometer at the time.
Numerous differences in the bodywork distinguish it from the original version; it is driven by Franz, dressed as a German police officer. We also decided to take advantage of this unique "police" version to equip the model cars with working lights for the first time in series production.
