The Ferrari 250 GTO is arguably the most legendary road-legal car ever built. Originally produced between 1962 and 1964, the "O" stands for Omologato (Italian for homologated), meaning Ferrari built this purebred race car to meet street-legality rules so it could compete in the FIA’s GT racing class. Only 36 examples were ever made, and because they were designed to be driven directly to the track, raced for 24 hours, and then driven home, they remain completely street-legal.
